Sirius is professionally hand-made from Spalted Pecan, a rare hardwood to find and one that has finished beautifully using lacquer, showing the spalting action in the wood to a very nice degree. The neck as well as the fretboard is made from hard maple.

This guitar has a fit and finish of all Paar Engineering models - finish is multiple thin coats of polyurethane, which protects the wood but still allows the "feel" of wood grain under your fingers. The Seymour Duncan Hot Rodded double-coil pickups provide a clear, clean signal to amplify. The action has been set low, keen attention is paid to the neck joint and pocket during the build, ensuring with the lowest practical action. The frets have been manually dressed to ensure there will be no cuts nor scratches as you run your hand down the fretboard chasing scales.

Controls are 1 volume and 1 tone with a 3-way switch. Wiring used is 22 gauge which provides plenty of conductivity for signals to wind through the controls and to the output jack.
